But you could duplicate the templates with 7 diamonds which still takes time but is way more efficient than exploring a lot of bastions

I hated this change. But I guess it was Worth it because It put your diamonds to work. I remember I had a supply of Diamond blocks over the years. I basically used it all up doing Decorating the armor turning things into netherite

No, you can duplicate them, you don’t have to find loads of them

There's a 10% Chance in every chest in every bastion, but a 100% Chance in the treasure room. Also you can duplicate them with 7 diamons, one template and a block related to the armor trim.

You're garunteed 2 per bastion, with the rest of the chests having a chance to spawn more. Also you can copy them using diamond and netherack after you have it

My advice is to start a world in 1.19 and if possible upgrade to the latest version after getting full netherite armour because u dont need the upgrade templates for the netherite armour

You duplicate the smithing templates with diamond and netherrack so you only really need to find one
