Hi friends,
let's apply to Japanese language school together 🇯🇵 I take you along for 9 months and documented the ups and downs and talk about necessary paperwork and some road blocks I encountered in the process. Of course I also had to apply for a long-term visa for Japan which came with it's own set of challenges. Enjoy!

Omg I'm so excited that you're finally going! It's so impressive how you managed all this administrative stuff.

That price difference of your last flight to this one might be because of how you were only able to book the current one very short term. I'm flying to Tokyo on Tuesday with JAL and I paid 1062 for a round trip. That language school did you dirty with confirming your acceptance this late :(

Also can't believe you're 1, 80m you look like such a smol baby on camera 🥹💕

Anyway, I'm so excited for your new adventure!!
Enjoy your trip and school life <3 rooting for you!

I’m pretty sure you’ll have a test of some kind when you get there. Every language school I’ve attended does even if they have a test before you fly over. And jet lag is a thing. It will probably be a speaking interview at least. You can prepare by practicing talking about yourself. This would be good practice anyway because you will definitely need to talk about yourself in Japanese when you meet people. I stayed at a share house in Fuchu which is about 40 minutes from Shinjuku station. It was a really good experience.

Thank you for this wonderful update. I am worried on the note of providing proof of funds. Please, how much money did you provide as a proof of funds and was it euros or in Japanese yen currency.

I’m kind of afraid to apply for a language school student visa in Japan because I only have a high school diploma, a certificate in welding and another certificate in airframe (airplane) assembly from Canadian colleges. I did take a level 1 Japanese course here in Toronto Canada of which I passed. I do have $74, 000 CAD/50, 000 euros in savings. I hope it’s enough the process sounds nerve wracking 😂
