Exciting news, everyone! After years of using and perfecting my personal presets, I’m thrilled to announce that they’re finally available for purchase. I’ve received countless questions about my film ‘recipes, ’ so I decided it’s time to share them with you. The shots you’ve seen on my Instagram were crafted using these very presets.

In the spirit of Christmas, I’m running a special offer until January 3rd. Use the coupon code ‘#Cinefeels’ at checkout for an extra 15% off.

Thank you!

You basically nailed it in your review. But IMO the AF performance of the 23mm makes it a no-brainer - I'd rather save up and get the 33mm LM WR myself.

I have the XF 23 f2 and the Viltrox 27 f1.2. I love the compactness of the fujicron and the bokeh and 3D pop of the Viltrox. Maybe the 23 1.4 is just the perfect mix fusion of them BUT not as compact and not as luminous I stay with the fujicron and the VTX

16 1.4, 27 1.2 and 56 wr are my perfect combo with their filter threads and distinct fovs

Having tested both for photography I went with the viltrox, it just produces images with a bit more character while being as sharp if not a tad sharper than the Fuji and is virtually 2 lenses in one. Frankly the size and weight are not too bad, the Fuji is of course significantly lighter but it’s also not a discrete lens for street photography IMO. If you shoot video then the Fuji is an easy pick but man it’s way overpriced for what it is!

Just received the Viltrox today. I love it! The AF is really silent, you can't hear it, if the lens is not right at your ear.

Best combo is 23 f2 (travel and portability) + 27 1.2 (portraits, event work) for the same price as 23 1.4 lm wr

It’s a moot question since I already owned 23, 1.4 Fuji.
The main reason I bought it was your reviews about it earlier, as I was sitting on the fence on whether to get it or not. Since I already own the 18 1.4 and the 33 1.4.
Anyway, I love the 23 1.4 and what images I get out of it and the fact that it’s smaller and of course auto focus. For street photography it’s a no-brainer. 🖖

Both really great lenses, best to choose by focal length preference here. I have the Fuji and it's great, but the Viltrox is a great value. Fuji shooters are lucky to have great choices here!

Great comparison. I don’t shoot moving subjects or macro style shots with my Fujifilm cameras, so the cheaper, faster Viltrox 27mm looks more enticing for someone like me.

You didn't forget to mention the AF lol. I have the 27 and I shoot street. It's just an amazing lens, the render is better and more than fast enough for street, while the 40mm fov is better, at least for me. And for below 400 bucks new it's astonishing. The size doesn't bother me at all but I'm a big lad

Difficult to choose, on budget, I don’t know if I’ll buy the Viltrox 27 or (xf 23 f2 + the “old”xf 35 1.4) or 23 1.4 and wait for money to buy the 33 🤔
What do you think ?

You nailed it about the major aspects of Viltrox. After one week owning this lens I can say that I’m amazed in every single aspect. If Viltrox keeps updating the Pro line, I will switch from the WR Fujifilm lenses but not because price, because IQ. I don’t own the Fujifilm 23mm f/1.4 WR but I own the 18mm f/1.4 WR too and honestly, I do not see a big difference in focus speed. I do not use continuous focus but I do mostly street photography and the Viltrox is quite snappy and nails focus with precision. Sure is more heavy but one must take in consideration it’s the cost of so much glass. Fujifilm owners also carry the 56mm f/1.2 WR at least is a bulky lens too. This lens is not bigger than any other lens at the same performance level such a Sony G Master. I’ll be honest, it’s heavy for the Fujifilm concept but it’s something one forgets about when looking at the first picture taken with it. Maybe it’s unfair because I just own the Fujifilm 18mm f/1.4 and I’m sure there must be focal length aspects that affect my comparison but I don’t know, there’s something about Viltrox color rendering that cough my eye. About 3d pop I could say that owning the Mitakon 35mm f/0.95 I’m used to great images at this point but damn, Viltrox is way too sharp… after this honeymoon phase, maybe a find it way too clinical and may used a mist 1/8 filter, otherwise looks like in shooting Sony 😅

The only Viltrox I’ve tried is the 13mm so far. It is a nice sharp lens, but also a bit large. I did buy the Fuji 23mm 1.4 LM WR and love it. I think it will make a nice video lens too especially for talking head videos.

I’m really hyped for the Viltrox! What about the Sirui Sniper 23mm 1.2? Can it compare? I know it’s less sharp in the corners.

I'd choose the 23 for its smaller size and better macro capabilities.

Which lens do you prefer for macro, Fuji's 23 or Sigma's 18-50? 🙂

Viltrox 27mm 1.2 lives on my XH2s and probably will for a time.

The way so many people are going on about the Viltrox as if it's some gamechanging lens makes me laugh.

On Sony FF, I had a Samyang 45mm f1.8 lens with the same shallow DOF capabilities (and low light capabilities due to FF advantage) and it was only 162 grams. It was also very sharp.

I think people are getting overly hyped about the exotic sounding f/1.2 aperture.
