I was a professional DJ in the 80s and 90s, and this is the finest DJ work I've ever seen. The mix is flawless, and using 45s instead of 12" mixes is so much more difficult, lots of tight grooves, and hardly any intros and outtros. This takes incredible coordination, precision, and creativity. DJ Mark N truly elevates mixing to an art form, it was a joy to watch.

What I’m the name of Break Beats did I just watch???? How did this video post 4 years ago and I’m just now seeing this? Let just start by saying who even realizes how crazy it is to have doubles of some of those rare 45’s. The precision the turntablism is on such a high level that most people watching this would have no clue how difficult this is to do this as flawless as it was done. I’ve been a DJ since 1979 came up cutting break beats watching so so many cutting break beats and this was nothing short of a super dope piece of artwork and a masterpiece. Only the purest of Hip Hop DJs could totally appreciate this. I just hope you will put out another video the people need to see this talent on display 👌🏼💯👏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼🙌🏼👏🏼🙌🏼

It's great to not seeing Serato being used, as great of a tool as it is. Digging for the songs, finding doubles, finding the breaks, marking the records, lots of skills not everyone knows anymore. Much respect.

Damn, the skill involved is insane. I'm no DJ, but I recognize the skill involved here.. he's seamlessly blending it all together. This guy is playing god-mode as if he's at the tutorial level..

This is hip hop in its purest form. As a hip hop DJ myself in the 80’s and 90’s in NYC, I have to say the skill level involved here is ridiculous. And the fact that you’re doing all of this on ‘45’s is just amazing. I mean all of the cuts and blends were so precise with the timing. I almost want to say that you have to be a DJ to truly understand and appreciate what’s going on over here. You’ve mastered the art of turntablism. Mad props to you. Keep doing your thing

I tried for years and years to reach this level and never did. Not just anyone can do it like that. It takes talent that only some people have, and a dedication that even fewer have.

Turntablism at its finest. Seen you play a couple of times in Scotland and it was an absolute joy.

"Alexa, show me the finest example of real DJing in the multiverse." Absolutely incredible. I saw this years ago on Facebook but lost it. The stars/algorithms aligned and YouTube suggested this as something I might like. The algorithms were right. I spend a ridiculous amount of time watching scratch/turntablist videos but this is number one. Perfection. Mark, I'd like to buy you a beer.

The first person I heard cuttin Rufus Thomas's Breakdown was Kool DJ Red Alert on a Friday night on 98.7 KISS FM. This was in 1986. I lost the tape to Hurricane Katrina.
