I was at the TIFF premiere and lost it when they said the baby's name.
Also your reaction of "this movie is bad but I also recommend seeing it" is exactly what I've been telling people lol

just watched it a few hours ago in IMAX. This movie absolutely has the most stimulating imagery you will ever see. Extreme sensory overload, and I loved that. it

Honestly your best review yet. For each video I'm liking your content more and more. Your growth as a creator is awesome to see man. Keep up the good work

Thank you, love your honest review. One thing that has been bugging me (not having seen the film) is this interview with Coppola in which he states that his inspiration came from reading about the Catiline Conspiracy in ancient Rome, which he claims was a fight between tradition and visions of the future, this simply is not the case whatsoever. The Catiline Conspiracy was primarily a coup attempt involving many established Patricians at a time preceding Rome becoming an Empire, rather than a crumbling Empire in need of Futuristic vision. From watching many reviews it seems Coppola got the Catiline Conspiracy confused with Atlas Shrugged and also has introduced Flubber into the mix. Anyway, loved your review!

Oh wow, I actually came late to that same Monday AZ IMAX screening. Crazy experience, the unhinged QnA was a perfect primer to just how bizarre the movie was.

Film Drunk, when are you going to review the cinematic masterpiece Talk Tauh?

If you wanted to watch a bizarre and over-the-top film, then you should’ve watched “The Substance” instead.

This movie looks like a pile of shit, but I'll still watch it for the role reason that it's not a sequel or a remake

Still confused? Here's my take:
Imagine Ayn Rand finally sitting down to write Atlas Shrugged and to celebrate she took a bunch of LSD and watched gladiator movies and someone gave her 150 million dollars

Took director 46 years to make this film 🎞️

I'm OLD enough to remember worrying that Coppola was going to lose his home after he screened the first of many versions of "Apocalypse Now" at the Cannes Film Festival in 1979. I used to live a few blocks from the former American Zoetrope Studios in Hollywood, which he lost after "One From the Heart." He has said for years that he's learned the only way for him to have access to money is to pretend like he already has it. That meant going into debt and occasionally declaring bankruptcy. This time he made the movie he wanted to make -- with his own money. I feel obligated to see it because of Coppola's career, but I'm in no hurry...

I watched it last night. Self indulgent, yes, ridiculous, maybe, Ambitious, absolutely. But still totally dreadful
