I never liked the natural sciences due to my affinity for the arts but people like you who have been able to present information in so many curious ways to me in my life is the only reason I have kept science so far in A levels. A question - In the last question of the worksheet, 18 part (b), you use v=u+at followed by v2-u2=2as.
Why can you not just use s=ut+0.5at^2 directly, taking vertical component of initial velocity i.e. u as 65sin4.3 and a as -9.81, to find vertical component of displacement i.e. s?

I am confused when do we use the equations of motion and when do we use the normal speed =distance /time

at 18:00 im kinda confused on why the object would be decelerating after it reached its max height? shouldnt the graph have a positive constant gradient after it reaches max height?
