There is no such thing as (1) Health & Safety Act, and (2) some of these building should be Grade 1 or 2 listed buildings. I’m amazed how these buildings are still standing after many decades, heat and torrential rain in the monsoon season, thus making the plaster porous and dangerous.

The trouble with the Government frankly they don’t give a damn as to them life is cheap, as is witnessed since the junta took over. This is not sad, but most tragic, and one day something dreadful is likely to happen, but the greed of the stupid government, Ministers, and Military, they will still do nothing.👎🏿👎🏿

I think these fine buildings are much older (excluding three objects). This is the colonial period. Old beautiful colonial Rangoon. It is very sad that they are in such a bad condition.

These are very old buildings. The government should make a list of them and renovate them and declare as heritage sites
