Looks like they hurled a can of the ol Bars Leak into it. You are the 1UZ Wizard. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Kel. 👌👆🇦🇺

I had a Ford with that mystery fluid one time. It was actually transmission fluid introduced into the cooling system. The customer tried to flush it and flush it but couldn't get that pink to hardly go away. We finally did, but you could still tell something went one.

Kelvin, I've heard some say they prefer a bent rod...

Hydrolocked I should have guessed.
So with that bein said is it worth replacing your headgaskets before they go?
If it ain't broke dont fix it? Or maintain it before you cant?

Hey mate. Do you work on the old 3L diesels? I’ve just had a mechanic do a whole heap of work on my hilux getting it back on the road and he’s just thought to tel me after all the work to change the glow plugs. I gave him the go ahead and 3 of the tips broke off into the engine. One was 15mm long. The other 2 we’re about 8mm. He tried to fish them out but couldn’t. Instead he chucked the new glow plugs in and started it…. Now it’s ticking. He said the head now has to come off to get the plugs out, but my problem is the damage he’s done to the internals of the engine. He said he will pay for materials and fixing the damage, but I think he will do the dodgy and just say it’s all good. What’s acceptable in this situation? Cheers
