Another option for the small realms is to affiliate them further: put 2 to 4 realms together so they can now share the same guilds and economy. No need for a name change, the original realm’s name is added like a last name to identify which realm you are eg mailing to. Occasionally you forget and it is send to the wrong person but you get used to it and often the game asks you of which realm.

Unfortunately you can almost never know the other players on your realm with the servers being merged, most of the time the people you're with you'll never see again.

Agree. Quiting from SoM cause high pop server is now dead. Not a single dg group below 60, so imposible to finish dg quests, and u loes a ton of exp + BiS items, etc.

Why should have to keep paying again and again just to enjoy the game to the full, change realms and pay for it??? These are all issues well known years prior, yet here we are, personally way to much gated content, lame story and even worse torghast, maw and korthia zones are last place I wanna be in all of wow! Then there is the sweaty/toxic attitudes I see or experience usually numerous times a day although do get the odd day off, most times I help another player there is no appreciation.
This game atm may appear as mmo, however it don't feel like one...
