TRAVEL DAY || Flying to from Malta to GREECE🇬🇷 via AEGEAN!

We traveled from Malta to Athens, Greece via Aegean Airlines!!

We start by making our way from our Airbnb to Malta International Airport in Luqa. Before going into the terminal we had to turn in our rental car with AVIS as well as get a COVID test with Swabbing Malta. Upon receiving our negative tests, we were ready to head to the terminal!

We learned shortly after arriving that when flying Aegean Airlines, you have to show all documentation before checking through security. This made things a bit tough as we'd arrived well in advance of our flight. We had to wait a couple of hours until the service desk opened but it was worth it as we made a friend in the coffee shop and got some work done. After going through security we made our way to the La Valette Club. Shortly after, we were ready for takeoff. The flight to Athens was short and incredibly scenic. We arrived in the evening (and Trey had to take another COVID test LOL) and began the long journey of getting to our Airbnb from Athens International Airport. We took the X95 bus from the airport to Syntagma Square, which is essentially the city center. This fare costs 5.50 euros each and took around 1.15 hours to arrive. Be aware, the airport in Athens isn't particularly close to the center of the city. After arriving at Syntagma, we made the final one-mile walk to our Airbnb. This Airbnb was spectacular. The views of Acropolis far exceeded our expectations.
