[REMASTERED] Sonic Tutorial

Remastered tutorial for the Sonic.

Is it just me, or is it every time I try to do this when focusing, I can never do this properly. Yet when I do this subconsciously, I will sometimes complete the trick fully. I'm like WTF, what WAS I doing wrong before?

finally found out what I've been doing wrong :'D
I kept doing a fingerpass plus charge for this one..

1. swing (starting of charge ; perpendicular to fingers)
2. push pen back behind middle finger while bending middle finger and use index finger to clamp down on pen
3. swing pen over and catch it using index and thumb (pen now rests between index and middle)

I've always found sonic to be one of the easier fundamentals... whereas thumbaround and the charge are really difficult for me xD

I learned the twisted sonic unknowingly when I started and now I can barley do the sonic XD

HOLY CRAP DUDE, you're so good at explanations! I started yesterday with a thumbspin and was trying to make a sonic and a charge by repeating moves that were shown in video (they were not shown, I just 0.25ed the video). And now I realised I was doing that completely wrong! And I learned charge and sonic just because you've shown what to do! What a legend

I learned the charge first, now I'm stuck with sonic+charge, and it took me some effort to do the sonic alone

Im going to be honest, when I follow ur tutorials I listen for like 2 minutes and then the rest of the time I'm practicing. Yet, Ur the only channel when I follow the tutorials I get it. I think you're magically transferring your skills to my brain

when u did it the 4th or 5th try and takes you 2 more days to actually do it without it being an accident :C

I watched couple of videos about this trick, but wasn't able to understand exactly where we were supposed to transition from the charge to the sonic. You showing the swing made me understand exactly where the two moves differ. Thank you so much for the lesson!

My middle finger keeps extending itself for no reason, to the point where I can only do this trick by holding it down. Do I just need more practice?

I started charge two days ago and i was able to do 3-4 spins but after learning this which took me about 15mins i tried to do the charge again and now i can do about 7-8 and they are circular af :ooo

You taught me the finger pass now sonic...you are much better than other YouTubers...I really had a tough time learning this after having mastered the twisted sonic

I’m a pro at doing the charge so learning this trick was even more difficult since my fingers would always stick with the habits of the charge
