I don't think anybody was thinking that it was the Tigers fault that you got near it's food lol. I think he knows the difference between the turtle and your board, I'm guessing that was a little territorial bite to get you away from his tortuga. I saw that clip a while ago but thankfully he didn't "mistake" you for the tortuga when you were knocked off the board. You Aussies crack me up and provide us with all sorts of entertainment.
