"Fresh off his contentious court appearance Wednesday, former President Donald Trump had some harsh words for Judge Lewis Kaplan, whom he called “a nasty man.”

Trump was not required to be in court for Wednesday’s proceedings in E. Jean Carroll defamation’s case against him, but he said he will attend “all days.” Last year, a jury found the former president liable for sexually assaulting Carroll in the mid-1990s. She is currently suing Trump for defamation (again) after Trump repeatedly claimed she lied about the assault.

Alina and Trump are correct, the more it costs Trump the better. I'd be happy if the judge awarded Carroll every penny Trump has and every penny he ever makes again. I know, wishful thinking. But $20 million is doable.

According to another account of the trial, when the judge told Trump, "You just can't control yourself." Trump shot back, "Neither can you!" Basically Pee-Wee Herman's, "I know you are, but what am I?" defense. Paul Reubens was playing a childish character. Trump is just childish.

Setting up appeals based on insufficiency of counsel? If you can't win the case based on facts, file a malpractice case against a lawyer? Act stupid to test judges patience in hope of an error? Act stupid to burn calendar time before filing an appeal....stretch the time it takes to do anything?
