In this video, I am reviewing the Rode Lavalier Go, a lavalier microphone that is designed for use with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. This microphone is a top pick for content creators, vloggers, and anyone who wants to improve the audio quality of their videos.

One of the best features of the Rode Lavalier Go is its compact and lightweight design, making it perfect for on-the-go filming. The microphone is easy to clip onto clothing and comes with a convenient storage pouch for easy transport.

The Rode Lavalier Go also offers superior audio quality, thanks to its omnidirectional polar pattern, which captures audio from all directions, making it ideal for interviews and other situations where you need to pick up audio from multiple sources. Additionally, it has a built-in pop shield which helps to minimize wind noise and plosives, ensuring that your audio is clear and crisp.

The Rode Lavalier Go is also very easy to use, plug and play, and it works with a variety of different mobile devices, including iPhones, Android phones, and tablets. The microphone also comes with a TRRS jack, making it compatible with a wide range of devices.

Overall, the Rode Lavalier Go is an excellent choice for anyone looking to improve the audio quality of their videos. It's compact, easy to use, and offers superior audio quality, making it my top pick for a lavalier microphone. I highly recommend this microphone for anyone who wants to take their mobile videography to the next level.

Thank you for the review. Short and to the point. It's tough to find reviews like this these days.

I don't know why some other people reviewing this mic don't even use the thing in the video... Thank you so much

I would like to know which input level you had while recording this video? And did you increase the volume afterwards in postproduction?

Really good video Triston...I learned a few things in the first part of the video. Not sure about the second one as it sounded really heavy to me.

Is this a good mic to get for live classes? My audio goes through Voicemeeter, but that doesn't have noise suppression. I tried to use OBS for that, but I don't like how choppy the sound gets. I can edit for recordings, but I need to know this for live sessions. TIA!

This was really helpful, thank you. Could you advise me... I'm a yoga teacher and have been using the rode wireless go. It's great, but I find that since I'm moving around it picks up clothing rustle and when I'm in forward folds, if I breathe out too much it's awful! Would the lavalier go be a softer option, or am I always going to come up against this regardless of what I use? Also, and this might sound very weird, it picks up every time I swallow, is this normal because I don't hear other people swallow and I'm getting self conscious! Thank you so much! I have no idea how it all works, so apologies for the stupid questions!

Question. Does the lavalier mic work with Rode Wireless ME?

Thanks for the video.
I do have a question : I own the lavalier go and the exact same recorder as you do, and I have crazy background noise. I tried two microphones, and two recorders, and tried a lot of differents settings, and I cant get rid of that noise. Did you experience it ?
