Saving for Cash Sinking Funds for the Rest of The Year

Happy TOM Tuesday! Have you started your cash saving envelopes for the second half of the year? The second half of the year is the most expensive time of the year, with Back to school, Labor Day Thanksgiving, and Christmas and other holidays can really impact our bottom line.

Thanks so much! I have had this kind of setup for a while but didn’t know what to call them. My special savings accounts are home maintenance, house insurance and property taxes, and finally, my yard care fund. I also have a general emergency fund, but I steal from it a lot, doh! I also have an account at a different bank for my next car, but maybe that is considered separate from a sinking account since that is a longer term goal. I fill them all with automated transfers from my checking account where my paycheck goes. Great video!
