97% of EVs are still on the road. The other 3% actually made it home.

Research conducted by UK-based Emissions Analytics shows that the pollutants coming off our tires are 1, 850 times worse than exhaust emissions and that electric vehicles can be the worst offenders. EV cars are way heavier! Tires are wearing way faster due to the high momentum of the electric drive units and much more weight = huge amounts of cancerous micro-rubbers & fine dust!

I was made redundant in March and had to hand back my EV after waiting 18 months for it to arrive!! I loved the car for the 6 months I had it but I have to say that now I'm back in my trusty diesel 2012 Galaxy Titanium X (thankfully I didn't sell it) I can't tell you how relaxing it has been doing a long trip without worrying about where I can get a charge!!

I've had my Mazda EV for almost 5 months. Starting to regret it. 360 mile trip to Manchester resulted in 2 top up trips which overheated the battery so had to sit around for 30 min to wait for the battery to cool. Also had an issue where the car thought it was plugged in (when it was not) and so it refused to let me drive. I do miss an engine. What's even worse is the current value. Almost 30K new which is fine but now after barely 5 months - 16K. Just shows the lack of demand.

Literally the very best advert for not buying an EV any time soon, if at all!

If I felt so hacked off by my EV there would be a simple solution! Sell the vehicle and be done with it!

As an American who's trying to convince my mother who's in the market to replace her 2011 Toyota Camry not to be brainwashed into getting an EV because a couple of her friends have them, thanks for this video, as she needs to see this, as the charging network is even worse here in the US when you get outside major cities into smaller cities, and rural areas which is a good chunk of the southeastern US where we live, plus the cost of having to put in an EV charger at home here in the US is crazy, unless you want to wait days to charge on 110v, or a 220v dryer plug, plus the same per mile road taxes are being proposed in many states here in the US for electric cars on top of rising power bill cost, and an aging electric grid that can barely keep up as it is.

Elon Musk once stated that to keep the battery life optimal, you should never let it get below 15% and never charge past 85%, exactly the same as mobile phones.

I love all the comments trying to explain why he's just doing it wrong...I love how your view of the world is perfect timing and precision on every trip and every situation u find yourself in you have perfect control over...yes in a perfect world evs would be made completely ethically and every trip can be perfectly planned and there are amazing charging points for all with the electric that has come from green sources...your not in the real world if you think this way

I haven't done as you're told. I'm still driving my 23-year-old 3.0 litre Jaguar. I'm not getting stressed out, I'm not damaging my heart and kidneys or bowels because I don't need to swig two caffeine-laden coffees whilst taking mere minutes to fill the tank with petrol, and not furring up my arteries with fast food from Greggs, etc. Live life to the full - scrap your EV before it goes on fire and destroys your house.

65p per kWh = 16mpg. Yes only sixteen miles per gallon. Electric cars are complete nonsense

People who buy these cars are in for a shock, no pun intended. The next deliberate "crisis" is going to be the lack of electricity to charge these cars. The tax on the per mile driven, is the writing on the wall, the governments intend on using to drain peoples wallets and restrict their travel
Here in Australia, the power grid is at its limit already, with power cuts in the summer, from people using their air conditioners. They are closing down the coal fired plants, which is making things worse, yet still selling most of our coal to countries like China, who arent following the stupid UN climate "crisis" cuts in coal use.

I'm considering what would be my first EV; your blogs are gradually convincing me that I need to wait a few years -- even here in the States.

There is insufficient capacity in the national grid for many more EVs. They are fossil fuel guzzlers - most electricity is produced by fossil fuels

I currently drive a diesel. The closest I'd want to get to an electric car is a plug-in hybrid, so if the battery runs down the petrol or diesel engine kicks in, and on longer journeys, just fill up with petrol.

I understand that over 90% of vehicles in the US are still petrol or diesel

I sold my 3.0 diesel 350 Merc 3 years ago because I was told diesel is out of fashion and bought 2.0 petrol Audi. Driving at 80 mph my petrol does 30 mpg, the diesel used to do 45 mpg. The diesel maintained fuel performance no matter what the speed you do. I am going back to a diesel again after this. We are being publicly manipulated by net zero and pollution. In my opinion diesel is the best by far. If you have a look at how ice cars work or only proves my case, diesel all the way

Love how you can afford a £90k car, but not an umbrella 😂
