Ballyhack Golf Club

Ballyhack Golf Club provided me with one of the best golf experiences. I recently spent a weekend at Ballyhack and had one of the best golf weekends at this Golf Digest ranked #6 in Virginia and #183 in America private course. Ballyhack is a beautiful Lester George Design Course in Roanoke, Virginia. While only 10 minutes from downtown Roanoke, it feels like it is 50 miles from a major city. Ballyhack rolls through big elevation changes and well placed bunkers and fescue to test your entire game. The best part of the course is the greens which offer endless options for pin placement and put a premium on your approach shot. The greens all have considerable undulations and you can easily putt yourself off a green or roll off from your approach shot. I played four rounds at Ballyhack and left more intrigued, this is truly a course you can play for a lifetime and never become bored. In addition to the amazing golf, Ballyhack has great cottages for the members and their guest. The cottages are well decorated, spacious and offer views of the golf course. We enjoyed sitting around our fire pit overlooking the 18th green late into the star filled night. The food is second to none, offering great restaurant quality. Lastly, the experience at Ballyhack was made only better because of the detail focused staff and the warm and friendly membership. I highly recommend looking into Ballyhack for a National Membership if your looking for a great golf experience.

Looked like a pretty sweet course man. Kinda reminds me of the Irish course at whistling straits. Did you have a drone out there or what? Some pretty good shots

They cut down to many trees. They took a Beautiful mountain forest landscape and turned it into a Scottish Prairie. 😤 disappointing. If you live anywhere west of Kansas City you completely understand. They did a great job of making the beautiful Smokey’s look like Nebraska.
