I'm going to post this here for people who will misunderstand, and if you continue to misunderstand I simply cannot help. I DO NOT think Red Dead as a franchise is over, or even needs to be, I think there's plenty in that universe to explore. People forget Red Dead is the franchise, Redemption is just a title extension used to reference this story (anyone remember Red Dead Revolver? Though not necessarily enough to prove the entire point it's enough to use the word Redemption to reference this story under the assumption a separate story might be called something else). My point being when I say Red Dead Redemption 3 shouldn't happen, I mean the story of John Marston & Arthur Morgan & the Van der Linde gang is concluded. I do not think Rockstar should drop the franchise altogether. So when I say Red Dead Redemption 3 you know I'm referencing this specific story, I'd be much more in favour of a different title "Red Dead (insert last word here)", but that's trivial.



Don't get too confused, gamers, and defintiely watch the video before commenting something too silly.

I would personally love playing as a younger Arthur during the early years of the gang. Less filler characters, more of the main og members going hard. I know I'd love to meet a younger Hosea.

I would like to see a reimagined and remastered version of Red Harlow’s story brought into the Canon universe in a new open world that includes New Austin locations such as Amadillo, Twin Rocks Hideout, Fort Mercer, Reds Ranch, Tumbleweed, Mexico and all of the locations from Red Dead Revolver. It was set back before the events of RDR2 so it wouldn’t interfere with the Van Der Linde gang but we could still hear of them through NPCs conversations and in game news paper reports of robberies happening across the country.

I feel like they should make a story on the golden age of outlaws and focus the narrative on Landin Ricketts but also have nods or cameos of other red dead characters. Something like that, u know?

I would personally love to play through the very beginnings of the gang. Maybe from the perspective of Dutch/Hosea. It would be fun to see it formed and developed, as well as to wander around the proper old west.

Red Dead Lumbago: The Uncle that Could.

They should at least give us something like a “Red Dead Relaxation” where we can play as uncle getting drunk and falling asleep under a tree, pressing square to say “I got lumbago” and letting rustlers steal Johns cattle.

RDR2: Fall of the van der linde gang
RDR3: Rise of the van der linde gang??
I think the golden age of cowboys would be fun.

I don’t even need an RDR3, I just want some extra story missions where Arthur or John can bond with the gang members an explore a whole new state.

Red Dead is a franchise. And “Redemption” and “Revolver” are series in that franchise. I think Rockstar will absolutely make another Red Dead (in 20 years lol) but not another Red Dead Redemption. However I think a Blackwater Robbery DLC or Undead Nightmare would work well with RDR2
