I once played in a over 35's game with Ronnie Goodlass, an Everton winger in the 70's. Ronnie was well into his fifties by then and was still head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch. Touch, speed of thought, passing, he was unbelievable.

Jack’s the man. One time before a match, I was hanging out in The Armory. He walks through with his wife (he was injured at the time), and the whole place went mental. Took a picture with every single fan that asked.
