Yes! You are describing my favorite pick! Super thick and kinda small, I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted so I 3D printed some. Has an embossed logo on it that creates the texture I need so it doesn’t fly out of my hand. I think so many players are missing out. All the players that I show my pick to just shake their heads and don’t even try it. Changed my world when I realized that blue dunlops and Fender heavy just don’t cut it. Needs to be way thicker 😃👍🏽

For years I was very fond of Jim Dunlop's 3.0 mm Big Stubby because I liked how it filled the space between my fingers kinda providing more of a material feeling from the strings. But then I started switching to Jim Dunlop's pointy Jazz III having a bit more of control since it forced me to play a bit tighter due to the smaller form factor. Recently I switched to the even smaller but all rounded Jim Dunlop's 204 USA. It just works for me since my hands kinda stay closer to the ringing part so having the sound under control while also maintaining your right hand properly closed but loose at the same time becomes natural.
Of course, I'm more than happy to try out new picks. The more special I have is a custom 6.0 mm beveled pick made a half resin and a half wood that my guitar teacher gave me, but some custom brands are very expensive to get where I live, and that's explain why I do stick with a worldwide known brand.
Anyway, switching picks makes a difference in your playing, like it or not, so I think it's a good thing to have different ones around to ensure you attain versatility but also some level of refreshment around your usual approach to the instrument. #mytwocents

I have a box of my grandfathers old tortoiseshell picks from the 60s and I bet they sound better than any of these
