A Langley woman says she's being inundated with more than 50 Amazon returns for shoes she never ordered to the point where she starts shaking when she sees a new package at her door. As the CBC's Ali Pitargue explains, she may be the victim of a vendor-return scheme.

I have an idea how this came about. There are new disposal/ waste laws on the books charging vendors fees for disposal if thier items. No one wants to pay these unnecessary fees so now this has come about. Ship the items to random addresses avoid the waste fees. Amazon used to destroy the packages. But when 60 minutes exposed their waste they started one of the largest liquidations operations the world has ever seen. Pallet liquidations. Selling returns to liquidators. Well the liquidators are now overwhelmed with this stuff. The market is saturated, no one is making money off these cheap products. So where is the overflow going? To random residents front porches! It's happening all over the US as well. Thanks Amazon!! No one wants their Amazon stock to tank. So no one reports on this foolishness. But Amazon is one of the biggest polluters in the world but NEVER takes accountability for what they have done!!!

Why not just sell the stuff then, she's getting free product. Also, this video revealed her address...

I would be calling Amazon and telling them to pick them up l dont want them and lm not paying for anything. I'd also give them all the bills back.

Only the cbc can turn something as pathetic as this into a "news" story.
