Chris got something in his voice that when he sings someone else's song, he could relate what the song is about and that makes the song hit you hard and like the song belongs to him. Don't think I have ever seen a singer that have the skill to do this.

Chris lives and breathes ROCK. Just look at his auditions on American Idol until they TRIED to keep him stamped down. He rose back up in EPIC ways from the ashes of a a Phoenix. AMAZING to see when I came back after many years to see what he was up to! My heart OMG, he MADE IT THROUGH ALL THIS is his heart -- Always HAS been! He's FREE and look what doors it opened for him! I swear Chris has been everywhere this year but I'm not surprised one bit considering how great of a vocalist he is, the guy sounded incredible guesting with Disturbed on Stricken and he sounded just as good here too.
