I have a Question for you. I was sent the wrong converter I ordered.I ORDERED A 12v to 24v 240w, 10a one, so i can increase my 100w or maybe 200w combined solar, to the power bank i have, for faster charging.I have a 1200w psw, 1000wh power bank. I received a 24v to 12v 20a 240w one. IF, ... I SWITCH THE INPUT, 24v wires, WITH THE OUTPUT 12v WIRES, WOULD THAT CHANGE IT TO A STEP DOWN 12V TO 24V FROM THE 24V TO 12V.?

I think that 5A steps are no suitable know the maximum output current. You can't know, for example, if the max is 10 or 14A, only why it can't handle 15A, and so further.

Ripple is very high. Any power supply that blows up with input and output within specification should be avoided!!

Misleading output capability results due to lazy testing method using only a small number of Presets. 5A 8A 10A 15A 20A is far too coarse!
You are using a variable Load, so just decide on a acceptable voltage drop (say 5%) and then slowly increase load current until voltage drops.
I like this Channel for the devices tested, but the testing methodology is really poor.
