Wow, finally finished watching. Jeff, tonight's panelists and your question style were out of this world. At some point I stopped watching your show for some reason, but tonight, owing to the competence, maturity and level of intellect from your 3 awesome panelists, I decided to stay and watch the program to the end. Non-partisan, objective and candid conversation guys. I applaud and affirm all of you. Jeff, its time you change tact from the usual Atwoli and Boss and be bringing these kind of leaders to the show-non-tribalists and all from same community but spitting wisdom across board. Ngaru is such a great woman with exceptional leadership skills I may say while Kagwanja speaks with independent mind irrespective of his wife's status. Prof. Munene, any day, anywhere, he reasons and articulates issues from high intellectual and moral compass. Guys, you have demystified the tribal myth 100%.👏
My take home:
1. Ambition by young Agikuyus like Ndindi is ok but done with order and decorum.
2. RigG is a technocrat not a politician but he if he agrees to go slow and learn the ropes, he is redeemable.
3. The problems RigG is experiencing are self-made. "Kingpins" merit not self-proclaim. He is far from being one but he can start by redeeming his image first. Apologise to kenyatta family then humble himself to losten more that bullying to oblivion.
4. A leader already in a position of power should be respected despite his retholic and domineering nature like RigG.
5. The one man, one shilling is ok to an extent that first, it be canvassed across the board and incorporated with other outfits given the unique nature of our country. It shouldn't be seen from a tribal lense.
6. Limuru 3 was acceptable under free association platform in preparation to a more orderly and an all-inclusive one in future to chat the mountain agenda, as their democratic right.
Lastly, just as there was Gema them days and the truth that the mountain is synonymous with our economy, agriculture, export and sizeable population, their view on forming a party to help them bargain and or protect their resources is a noble thing just like other communities do.
I wish you the GEMA people well in your clamour for unity of purpose👍
