This is basically what happened with Genshin and Legend of Zelda. Genshin is so far removed from any Zelda game by this point it would be stupid to make a comparison. Id imagine the same thing will happen with this game. Give it time.

They need to heavily refine the locomotion system and make it talent / skill based. Spiderman feels like it has training wheels. Also remove that black tendril and have a retractable Kunai with string or suction cup with string. Or have both as cosmetic options and make it slower to swing than to just run so it's more of a look cool and don't fall to the ground device.

What I immediately thought. It does just straight up look copied but I guess there isn’t a lot of ways to animate swinging that isn’t just boring. Still though I’m very suspicious of this game.

welp spiderman is a sony owned character as well as the games and project mugen is gonna be a ps exclusive when it comes to consoles so i dont think nun bad will happen to project mugen
