I have both the wide screen box set, and these steelbook's, and can confirm there is loads more visible footage in the 4:3 steelbooks, more than I was expecting. It's incredible how much has been cropped on the 16:9 versions. The grain however on the steelbook releases might bother some people.

I got the DBZ Kai collection and Season 7-9 of these steel books instead of Kai’s Final Chapters. But all the art on steelbooks really do look amazing.

I recommend after watching all of dragon ball z is to watch dragon ball super because the story follows right after the events of dragon ball z but they only have one season with about 131 eps
