this doesn’t even feel like I’m watching a Resonator Showcase but like a scene in an anime or a movie! the animation just keeps improving, literally an ABSOLUTE CINEMA!

On top of Wuwa's already excellent NPC design, it was actually cool to see some non-Resonators and how they fight; swordsmanship, pugilism, tool, was actually really refreshing and kinda expands the depth of the world.

Also, I'm not convinced many if any of the the BlackShores NPCs actually passed Camellya's test...

So that's why they separated the combat showcase! Just what I thought! I love the direction they're going. The sudden cut with the combat showcase limits the potential to show a more coherent story. Separating it from the Resonator cinematic is a great decision.

Also, THIS is the WuWa I signed up for. Mature and dark! I was surprised that they showed blood and actual open wounds. I mean they did with Danjin's but still. The fact that we get a playable resonator that is capable of k1ll1ng someone is also a great step in the right direction.

I also love the NPC-interactions and how they showed the way they fight. Every video they release adds depth to the world-building and lore. The fact that Black Shores doesn't discriminate on which members to accept says a lot.
