The return of Odysseus from Troy, part 2: After the end of the war, Odysseus, like everyone else, took the road to return to Ithaca. But for the insults against the Gods he committed in Troy, he was punished (nemesis), a ten-year wandering before arriving in Ithaca. Initially, for Odysseus, the Gods had not decided on such a great punishment, but when Odysseus blinded Polyphemus, he exasperated Poseidon, who vowed not to let him return to Ithaca.
