Fright Night: The vampire test HD CLIP

What’s happening in this Fright Night movie clip?
To prove Charley (William Ragsdale) that Jerry (Chris Sarandon from The Princess Bride and Child's Play) is not a vampire, Peter (Roddy McDowall from Planet of the Apes) asks Jerry to drink what they claim is "holy water", but it is only tap water; Jerry has claimed to Peter that drinking actual holy water would be against his religious convictions. Peter discovers that Charley is right about Jerry's true nature after glancing at his pocket mirror and noticing Jerry's lack of a reflection, causing him to accidentally drop and smash the mirror. Peter then flees, but Jerry learns of his discovery after finding a shard of mirrored glass on the floor.

What’s the Fright Night movie about?
Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) is passionate about horror films. He wouldn't miss "Fright Night", a show devoted to fantasy cinema and presented by Peter Vincent, a famous vampire hunter. When Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon from The Princess Bride and Child's Play) and his bodyguard move into the house next door to Charley's, they have only one piece of luggage: a coffin. Some time later, a prostitute disappears. Charley understands that his neighbours are vampires. He warns the police, who do not take him seriously. To get to know each other better, Charley's mother invites his new neighbours…

This is always one of my favorite scenes in any Vampire movie hands down.

Vincent is just a fraud. He knows the lore cause you can't be a convincing con man unless you do your research.

When he looked into that mirror and saw that the man had no reflection he lost his shit.

He is not a actually vampire hunter, he just taking advantage of ppl who belive or may actually be dealing with this for real for a profit.

So it makes perfect sense for him to be scared senseless.

Despite him being a fake and not having anything on him that could help.


He kept his cool and saved those kids lives.

When I saw that scene Vincent gained a lot of respect from me.

He was a true coward yet he saved those kids lives and even helped in the final battle.

He aight in my book.
