I literally told myself, I needed a friend right now to tell me I did the right thing. Soon I clicked this video you told me I did. I truly truly truly needed this.

I really liked a man and felt so devalued, ignored, and criticized. I allowed my attraction for him to lose attraction and self love for myself. I told myself to just let it be and he’ll come around. I was literally gaslighting myself allowing myself to lose sleep at night, cry and knew he was flirting with other women. His lack of attraction for me didn’t define me.

I got up today and told myself no more. I can make my own damn choices and stop letting someone else wait and pick me. I’m talented, an amazing artist, photographer, charismatic, charming. I was way too good for him.

Boom! A couple of years into our almost 24 year relationship, I had a nightmare that reoccurred several times. In this dream, which I know now was vision of the future, he was cheating on me, but it was the intense pain of hurt and heartache that this dream made me feel, as real as the daylight.
