Every Monday I give food and candy to Elegba and make prayer followed by libation and smoke for the warriors. By habit, whenever I leave or return home I tap the ground in front of the altar 3 times with my sword or tap the drum on the altar 3 times.

Elemi has such a beautiful voice. I know African religions say that it is only for those who are born into the ancestry, however while being of east indian ancestry the orishas visit me. I knew nothing and had to look for the names they told me. I was led to your videos since then to better understand. I took very long before I listened to the Orishas because of people of African descent saying it is only for Africans. Perhaps that isn't very true, afterall when we truly walk a soul path, we are beyond religion and meet all beings who can be our ally. Atleast that has been my experience. 🙏 Thanks for everything you share with us even if we never practice but are here for thr wisdom 😘
