This silent movie is very appropriate. Words wouldn’t capture the depth of emotion or devastation !

Your drone footage of Beryl's aftermath shows us that life is unpredictable and we are no match for nature's fury. Sending prayers for all islands in the hurricane's path 🙏🏼🤲🏼❤

That amount of damage from a fast moving storm really shows how incredibly powerful the winds were. It must have been horrific for everyone trying to shelter.

I was living in Puerto Rico when Hugo struck! I think that was the beginning of this trend of stronger hurricanes. As you can see everything turns brown because the wind burns the foliage. Pretty soon everything will turn green again! And just like nature rises again, so will you my beautiful people of the Caribbean! Bless you all!

You get to live in paradise, but every 20 years everything you build gets flattened.

Watching from Tobago, sending blessings to all affected, so traumatising to even watch, we know you are resilient people and will build back stronger.

I was in Puerto Rico flying for an airline in 1995 when we had several hurricanes pass through. The hillside above the airport in St.Thomas looked like Michigan in the winter; Gray, as in the pictures in this video because all the leaves were blown away.

Three months later it looked just as green as ever; Native vegetation in these islands are used to hurricanes.

Thank you for bringing the plight of the affected people to the outside world. The worry for the families outside is immense. I know, as we went through days of not knowing when hurricane Maria devastated Dominica in 2017. I pray that help will arrive swiftly and abundantly to all those in need. Prayers from Dominica/Toronto 🙏🏾🇩🇲🇨🇦

Been in Michael a cat 5 and you just sit there and think when will it stop? Then it dies and you think, man what a mess of everything. People are like in shock. It will get better. Prayers for all !!
