I plugged old HP printer USB cable I kept in my junk box from 20 years ago. Was so happy to finally prove to my wife I keep old junk for a reason. Thanks Canon you give junk a value :)

This is very useful. Yet, I wish you had shown a bit more clearly which way to put the ink-things. The thing is I am totally clueless, because I have never had an ink printer before.
Anyway, videos like this are life savers. At least mental health savers.

Oh I see... the reason I can't find my USB cable is because there really isn't one. Just as well I live in a place that has about 3, 462, 049 shops that do printing, I guess.

hello would it be too much to ask for if you could explain what i’m doing wrong...i’ve installed the ink cartridges more than 10 times and the alert button just keeps flashing orange even though i’ve done it EXACTLY like it’s shown please help what do i do and or what am probably doing wrong

I did the same mistake. Bought a printer without an USB-cable :( . And it even says so, but I did not notice. And how easy is it to get that cable? Not so easy it turns out. I can actually throw my printer in the garbage and buy a new one. With a cable this time. And I will really make sure it has a cable this time!

This printer doesn’t come with the crucial cable, the use cable!
Cannon are making people to buy it separately.
