What a time to be Alive . Supper Clubs, Nite Clubs , Big Beautiful Dance Halls with top name
Big Bands . The Youngsters of today will never know the feeling of asking a young Lady to dance
with you . Taking her in your arms at a proper distance, and stepping out on the floor to " Moonlight Serenade ", played by
the big band sound of Victor Hugo's Band . Thanks for the wonderful memories .

To be honest, I wish there were more female jazz fans or jazz enthusiasts. Because if that happens, our human life on this Earth will become richer and more beautiful. I think jazz is the universe. It truly is a wonderful universe. 🤎😉🤎

How is it possible to feel nostalgic for a time I never lived? Well, here I am.

My uncle was a jazz musician with an extensive collection of 78's of music from this era. He educated me musically from when I was about ten years old. I was there when this music was new. Now in my advanced years, listening to this original music again I can still feel the romance.

The room was dimly lit. I could smell the fresh cherries and oranges from the bar... maybe an old fashion... The piano was a shiny black Steinway R, with a glass of red wine on top near the edge. I heard her voice...the spotlight was soft and there she was... as beautiful as her voice...

These women have such an elegant, enchanting quality about them; I don’t think it would be the same with men singing.

A real tonic for the soul.

All I really want to know is if you're here at 2nd half of 2022 just listening these jewels of Jazz. God bless you all.

What a great collection of our past. Thanks to all these voices telling it how it was.

Love their clear natural voices without hiss, groan or moan. What an articulation! Every word is heard. So soothing. As if a kind mother sings a lullaby. Miss that leisurely time with no rush! Thank you very much!

I was introduced to Jazz since...I can't remember. Although I live in Argentina, and jazz is far from our roots, my father (1911 -2000) was a fan, and I knew Fats Waller, count Basie, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington from my beginning to this world. Also women's voices, like Ella Fitzgerald, and many others. There is no other music that brings me such pleasure as this, except maybe classical music. I thank to this place in bringing back beautiful and romantic voices singing wonderful melodies form the best era: the past.

I play this in the Julie Heller Gallery whenever I am working. It is so smooth and doesn't overtake the paintings.

Hard to believe ( I am only 16 years old this year, just a young man ) I don't know when I started and I really like Jazz music, not as extravagant as many other young people. Thanks to the feeling when listening to the music, I feel like going back to my mother's past

Been loving this as a child late 60s. Played my parents record on a "Show n Tell" @78rpm. They told me to play my own records, their records were fragile like a chicken egg shell. Victor, RCA, MGM, International were some the company labels. The dept of the sound chirping thru a mono speaker was the greatest, 5 years old I thought I knew what the lyrics ment and sang or mumbled thru the song. I could only wonder what the old folks thought. My latter years began to believe I lived another life previously and grew up with an old man's soul. 🤔

C'était la musique que j'écoutais et adorais à 20 ans... 62 années plus tard, mon plaisir est intact.
Souvenirs doux et forts !
