Hotpoint Washing Machine not Draining Water - Fixed.
In this Hotpoint Washing Machine Troubleshooting Video I will show you the steps to take to fix a front loading Hotpoint Washing Machine that wont Drain Water.
Are your clothes coming out wet or your Hotpoint Washing Machine is full of water at the end.
I'll show you how to diagnose a Hotpoint Washing Machine Drainage problem and the Hotpoint Washing Machine Drainage pump filter problem.
This is a Hotpoint Washer not Draining.

Thanks so much for this, have a pint on me over the Bank Holiday weekend. I was preparing to call a plumber before I found your video. Just running a test cycle now, but so far so good… you’ve saved me money, hassle and a trip to the laundrette in the meantime. Found a hair clip in the impeller - used my iPhone torch and a pair of tweezers to remove it. Really straightforward video that was easy to follow. I appreciate you posting it so much.

Thank you, out hot point is 10 years old and never failed until today with a drum full of water, it’s in a corner with the dryer on top and the fridge next to it but still managed to tip it backwards enough to get a bowl under it and low and behold the filter was full of a mass of hair and bits of plastic! Cleaned it all out and it’s running fine again now. I was just about to go to Curry’s and buy a new one but realised I had to get the water out somehow anyway so found your video, you’ve saved me a new washing machine today!

Thank you so very freaking much! My washing machien had been out of action for a few months as it suddenly stopped draining; no error lights, no sound, nothing. Just wouldn't drain.
This made it clear how easy it was to check the obvious point and low-and-behold a tiny little black cap thing had gotten itself wedged in the drainage! Giving it a rinse cycle now but this may well have saved me £xxx on getting a guy out!!

Thanks Lurgs - just took the filter out and found an elastic band that has been impeding the spinning thing which has been gradually worsening the draining out over the past couple of weeks. This was an excellent step by step guide for me, much appreciated!

I think i just fixed my hotpoint that wasnt draining. Before this video i put it on another wash foolishly and it filled up more an wouldn't drain still 😅 watched this an as soon as i opened the drainage part some shit was stuck i removed it with a shed load of boiling hot water turned it on and its now draining and on a dry cycle 😊 you are a legendary man lol thanks dude i only got the bloody thing a week ago second hand obviously
