Blink (birth name Clarice Fong) is a main character on FOX's The Gifted. She is a mutant with the ability to teleport via portals.

She has spent a vast majority of her life on the run or in detention centers, simply for being born different. Unlike a majority of mutants whose abilities can be kept hidden, Clarice has facial markings that are fairly visible and make her mutant status clearly known, which led to constant persecution

You can see how well her powers have evolved. She has to focus really hard here just to make a small portal that is about the size of a desk, but in Days of Future Past, she can make a huge one without any hesitation.

She then shaped her portal energy into darts so its easier to open portals. And she can concentrate enough to open huge ones and multiple ones at the same times

Blink is not dead she in another plane of existence. Her portals are gateways through all space. Thats why they showed you the clip of her telling john about portals to space or just portalling anywhere or nowhere.
(Hint) Johns powers are psychic thats how he traces people he has visions and all his senses are heightened. The whole episode he was saying he could feel her and he kept hearing her voice. His powers are connecting him to her because she is here but not here type of situations dimensional vortax type shit.
Possibly where ever she is its possible time also works different so maybe she would heal faster and or she wouldnt die from her wounds for a period of time.

Blink has the ability to form her portals into to a shards that whoever or whatever hit it it will automatically disappear. also she can use her portal to counter her enemy's move. However her power is so limited. he can just create 2portals at a time.
