This whole album is so criminally underrated. It’s the kind of rock and roll epic that is sorely lacking from the current landscape of popular music. So many young musicians could learn so much from these men.

It’s a shame this song isn’t more popular. It’s really good.

Damn, now I imagine what would it be like if Meat Loaf and Freddie Mercury did a song together ❤

Strange how your taste changes over time. I've always loved Meat Loaf, but when I first heard this album I hated it, because I was comparing it to Bat 1 and Bat 2. Now, years later, when I come back to listen, I can appreciate it for it's own merit, and not in comparison to something else.

If there's a Steinman song equal to the giant "Bat out of hell", then here it is: a bigger-than-life confession to life without any limits... and as an antithesis to "Bat..." it doesn't end in a deadly accident (or in a relationship prison, like in "Paradise..."). So great to have this late version with such a rockin' star ensemble!

Meatloaf, absolutely brilliant, a genius really, fir the ppl who get it, its amazing, some ppl dont get it, so I suppose its horses for courses, an amazing artist in my opinion, for what ever that is worth.

Most of this album has such a 90's Savatage feel to it!

May be an odd one out but whilst Meat Loaf is indeed the most unique and great rocker that he is, I must confess to preferring Jim Steinman's own versions over these.
Great to have both to listen to :-)

I just realized this has the same tune as "I'm gonna love her for both of us", also by Steinman and Meat. A little less operatic, but it's still very very similar.

A great song and an amazing album. Hearing this makes me wish Meatloaf and Brian May would do some more tunes together.

Epic!

Could you imagine how much better (in my opinion)this would have been had they used the music on the Steinman version. That music with Meats voice...yeah!
