A lot of people are gonna roll their eyes at this method but theirs deeper insight about multiplication that can be drawn from this method... well not exactly this method but more specifically the Area model of multiplication which im assumming this is based on.. for example it's easy to visually see how factoring works and also how you can break apart 2 larger numbers and take a sum of the products to get the total product... and by the time algebra rolls by you can justify why the FOIL method works using this method. I just wish it was explained in full detail instead of appearing as a youtube short where people arent going to think deeply about it.
