LYRICS:
[Verse 1]
I'll go first so you can go second
Show you my worst, yeah, here's my confession
I'll put it all out on the table
If I'm honest, I'm not able
To get my head out of the clouds of my depression

I could be on top of the world, and the very next minute
I start to wonder if it would be better if I wasn't in it
But I know that's not the truth
I guess that's why I'm telling you
'Cause maybe the two of us could walk through this together

[Chorus]
You and I, we all have so many secrets inside
What if what we have in common is what we hide?
We'rе just different shades of brokеn
We're all scarred but we're not hopeless in heaven's eyes
You and I, you and I

[Verse 2]
There are some things that no one should see
At least that's the lie that's been told to me
Shame can only taint your heart
When you keep it in the dark
So go ahead, you're safe to set your secret free

[Chorus]
You and I, we all have so many secrets inside
What if what we have in common is what we hide?
We're just different shades of broken
We're all scarred but we're not hopeless in heaven's eyes
You and I, you and I (You and I, you and I)
You and I (You and I, you and I)

[Bridge]
In the light we see everybody has their struggles
In the light we see everybody hurts the same
In the light we see everybody's gonna get better, yeah
In the light we see everybody's on their way

[Chorus]
You and I, we all have so many secrets inside
What if what we have in common is what we hide?
We're just different shades of broken
We're all scarred but we're not hopeless in heaven's eyes
You and I

[Outro]
You and I
(In the light we see everybody has their struggles)
You and I
(In the light we see everybody hurts the same)
You and I, you and I
(In the light we see everybody's gonna get better)
You and I
(In the light we see everybody's on their way)
You and I, you and I

Luke 6:32-42
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
39 And he spoke a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

Luke 7:41-50
41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both, Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
49 And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
