As generic as it might have sounded, Edge of Tomorrow is still a pretty good (And perhaps underrated) sci-fi action film.

The Mad Max franchise.
The first movie was very popular in Australia and Europe, but was barely noticed by US audiences.
So when Mad Max 2 was released in 1981, it was released to the US audiences as The Road Warrior
so that they did not get confused.

I’ll always know Raiders of the lost ark as simply Raiders of the lost ark.

Live Die repeat is one of the stupidest titles ever for a movie. Edge of tomorrow is so much better

When The Empire Strikes Back came out, I remember sitting in the theater and during the screen crawl at the beginning of the film when it says in Star Wars IV a lot of people exclaimed "What?!?" because no one had any idea that the original Star wars was the middle of a series.

Appropriately enough, Ewan was renamed Gareth for this video. 😮

Having lived both in the UK and Zimbabwe, have all these years known the first Mighty Ducks movie as 'Champions' and the second one as 'D2: The Mighty Ducks'.

A couple ideas if there is ever a followup list: The Avengers / Avengers Assemble and Connected / The Mitchells versus the Machines

I got one that you missed.
Dark Angel became I Come In Peace for American cinemas.
The 1990 action/sci-fi/horror movie starring Dolph Lundgren as a Houston cop was named Dark Angel before American release. After what I can only guess was testing, they wisely changed the title for U.S. theaters to the alien's quote from the film, I Come In Peace.

The full title of Dr. Strangelove is actually Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.

Edge of Tomorrow sounds like the name of a soap.

Whenever I see the Tom Cruise film here in Greece on streaming or on TV it's always titled"edge of tomorrow" .🤔 And I have seen many reaction videos on YouTube with that title for the movie from the US.

I hate the fact that they added 'Indiana Jones and the' to Raiders more than I hate Greedo shot first or FBI walkie-talkies.

It was only a couple years ago that I started seeing Blade 2 with the title Blade 2: Bloodhunt on tv. I don't remember ever seeing that subtitle until recently, even when I saw it in the theater. And it doesn't have that addition all the time, most times it's still listed as just Blade 2

One that I find odd is that one of my favorite movies is "Dangerous Beauty" and this was the name when I owned it on DVD, but when I went to buy it digitally last year its Dangerous Beauty, on all platforms but one.... For some reason, the Microsoft Store has it under the title "A Destiny of Her Own" which was the title in some regions, though why Microsoft being an American company uses that title is weird to me.

Edge of Tomorrow is a good movie for people who like and hate Tom Cruise. If you like him, it's a nice sci-fi action thriller. If you hate Cruise, he is shot, burned alive, squashed, run over, pummeled and even ripped apart in PG-13 fashion. So watching him die somewhat comically at times is worth the price of admission.
