Gentle osteopathic mobilisation for the back in seated - Indian Workshop 2022

Mobilisation tends to not be done because it can be very hard on the Therapist if they get their position wrong, they use too much of their hands and fingers they are using their body effectively which means they are compromising their joints.

This is a snapshot from a workshop we conducted in New Delhi in India

With the patient seated we are positioning ourselves to affect a gentle and therapeutic thoracic sidebending, rotation and extension, we are using our legs is the primary driver, our hands are just guiding the joints in a slow rhythmical fashion
