Swift Zwift Tip: Unlocking Hardware Manufacturer Kits // ANT+ Pairing Requirement

Unlocking both Stages Cycling and 4iiii Zwift kit in-game requires you to pair over ANT+ to automatically unlock it and have it appear in your garage.

Finally answers the question why i have the black WattBike kit and my mate who paired with Bluetooth does not, hes been moaning for over 12 months!! I don't think ill mention this to him haha

Thanks for the tip! I dig get my Garmin kit to unlock without ANT+ but will be shooting for other MHKs this evening. I wish there was a list online. I have a few to shoot for: Saris, Wahoo, Quark (I saw on you video it was there). I hate looking like a newb in orange but those days are over!

On my Apple TV, I had no trouble getting the 4iiii kit get with a BT connection to the crank based 4iiii power meter.

Also, I think you get to keep the kit even if you no longer use the device. I still have my Stages kit, even though I sold the power meter a couple of years ago.

Hi Shane. I have the 4iii kit when I paired my 4iii power meter to zwift using Bluetooth. I don’t own an Ant+ dongle. This was about a year and a half ago. However my wahoo kit has not pulled through. Very interesting that 4iii did but not wahoo, and as you said it should only be on ant+

Hi Lama! I paired my kickr via ANT+ today, but didn’t get the kit. Do you know if that is because the trainer had previously been paired via Bluetooth? Not a big problem, as I just used the code as per one of your older videos, just curious. Thanks for all your work!

I got my Stages kit unlock from a BT connection to the IOS app. It was a year or to back though.

Hmmm, I only use iPad and/or AppleTV with Zwift so only connect via BT. I’ve unlocked the Stages kit.
