As an ex gymnast, I feel this so bad. I kept getting hurt because I was too hypermobile, and I had adopted others opinions that I had to do it no matter how much pain I was in, and had to win no matter what, pushing my own opinions and needs aside. I’m not saying she doesn’t love it, but only thinking about winning and competition no matter the injury is something I relate to quite heavily
