Just from lack of options, i decided to separate productivity from my phone instead of looking for a device that was a phone focused on productivity. So i got the Palma. It's only been a few days but at least what I want to use it for works great after adding nova launcher. The idea will be that im never reaching for my phone for anything productivity related.
I will say that the work going into the LP makes keeps it a contender. The only thing that might pull me away from LP interest is if the Minimal launches, has active support, and has the core features i want on a handheld.

Question for light phone II users, how do you manage 2FA or things like authenticator? I really want to jump into getting a light phone II to prep for my light phone III preorder just to have time to get used to the device and the system. Any advice?

Hi, I want to switch from an iPhone to a light phone, in order to significantly reduce the use of my smartphone.
The question I've been asking myself for days is: should I pre-order LP 3 or get LP 2 directly?
I like the idea of ​​having an e ink display, on the other hand the LP 3 has a camera, more memory and the NFC system.

Will there ever be a bookmark option for music? I use it to listen to audiobooks and it looses where I left off. With the larger storage of the Light Phone 3 it will be that much harder to find where I left off in a 18 hour long file.

Love the light phone 2 form factor, although but due to work i need 2fa.. hopefully the Bigme highbreak will be decent when it comes out. but would definitely want it to be small as i won't be using it as an e-reader

On paper this sounds like a great device but watching the video it feels very hit and miss in terms of responsiveness. Took 3 seconds after clicking for podcasts to load for example. Top left of screen seems to take a couple of clicks to get it to work etc. Glad I saw the video but can't say I'm convinced to try one.

My Bluetooth just keeps not working, I consistently have to reboot my device just for Bluetooth connectivity to you acknowledge that connected devices exist, or to allow me to connect anything.

On the website it mentions the new LPIII might be able to get whatsapp later in the date. Do you think this is possible? Also the nfc chip, is this for tap/contactless payments? Bcuz if thats the case i actually might consider buying the pre-order.

Another fantastic video as always Jose. I did have a question I know service is usually all over the place. But for basic phones that can at least offer navigation, basic emails, and snap a serviceable picture what would you recommend on Verizon's network?

Is there any possibility of Spotify connectivity coming to light phone 2? That's really the only big objection to getting it that I have.
