Erik Lamela – who departed Tottenham Hotspur FC for Sevilla FC in July 2021 – got the nod for his outrageous goal in the north London derby in March 2021. This is the second straight FIFA Puskas Award to be won for a goal scored in a Tottenham shirt, after Son Heungmin claimed the prize for his strike against Burnley FC last time round.

I love how Lamela is simply so left-footed that he won't EVER touch the ball with his right.
He literally learned to go for the rabona instead when the ball falls to his weak side.

Lamela has to be the winner. Dont think its ever been done before, so to pull off a nutmeg rabona goal in a north london derby was a mix of absolute class and pure insanity. It wasnt just a nutmeg on thomas partey, it wasnt just a nutmeg rabona through thomas parteys legs, it was a rabona nutmeg straight through partey and the arsenal defence, past the keeper and into the bottom corner.
