On 7th July 2020, after months of delay due to weather and Covid19 problems, I finally got to fly my Ex-pat Xair, 24ZN, from south-east England over the English Channel to the Dordogne in south-west France. This video is of the first leg of the flight from Clipgate Farm to Calais-Dunkerque, my port of entry into France. It turned out to be closed due to the pandemic so I had to close my flight plan, which you must file when crossing international boundaries, by calling NATS in the UK before continuing onward to Abbevillle, my next stop, where I needed to take on fuel.

Great to see an X air flying the channel . Looking forward to more videos of your journey in France. Also it would be very interesting to know how to register a microlight in France with insurance etc. Thanks for sharing
