I built my dream Enduro bike from spare parts.

I challenged myself to ride all of Bentonville before I could get an Enduro bike. Now that's complete, but I need to find some creative ways to be able to afford this Enduro bike!

You should definitly swap the rear shock for a super Deluxe or fox float X / DP X2. The Deluxe is made for cheap xc bike, not enduro !

I personally think you will be missing out with that shock. I will never run a non-piggyback shock again after I switched to the fox float x.

I always recommend putting one headset cup in at a time, means all of your attention can be focused on one rather than both and its easier to spot something so good job on that - the top cup going in crooked which would contribute to the difficulty during installation

Super stoked on how these shots came out. Showcases the bike/ your work very well. Now it’s time to SEND

The upper head set cup was pressed in crooket as hell🫣🫣also the DUB Bottom bracket wasn't really spinning as free as it should, I think the spacers were not correct, also I would double check that chainline, I may be wrong but on the video it looks weird.

Also please press any bearing by the outer bearing race, as far as I could see in the video you did every bearing with the wrong adapter and just gave it some ugga dugga on the inner race. That's how you wear our/ destroy new bearings extra fast.

Love the build and the Channel! Pro mechanic advice: get a correct size dropper as soon as you can. Those require that they reach past the seat tube-top tube intersection. You risk cracking the frame at that junction because the top of the seat tube is supporting all your weight.

Again, love the channel and have been a subscriber for awhile, keep it up!

Awesome! My only somewhat negative comment is that shock! You'll regret that sooner than later but at least it gets you on the trail but seriously, I highly recommend the Marzocchi Bomber CR coil shock for any budget bike that will actually get put through some gnar.

Great build vid! It's fun watching somebody put together their dream bike.
For CushCore, it looks like you did the install dry. I did my first install a couple weeks ago and found the most important thing for me was to use some sort of lubricant on the tire. I used a little spray of the general purpose cleaner I use for cleaning my bike, that was just enough to make things go from almost impossible to no problem at all.

Love the vid and bike choice, altho i’d recommend getting a beefier shock, as this one is made for light trail riding and xc, and about that headset cup, i think your main issue was that you didn’t press it in straight

Really loving your builds. You jave a good eye for aesthetics too, really like the color details in this one. Nice job!

And that’s how you install a permanent headset bearing

Great episode. I love watching bikes being out together. I had a similar issue with my Chris King headset on my Geometron G16. My mechanic put the headset cups in the freezer for a few hours, quick removal, and they went in easily. I guess the freezing made a fraction of a mm difference, but it was enough.

That bike will be awesome with a rockshox coil on or a super deluxe ultimate air. that shock won't do the bike justice

I must say this may be my favorite video since you first started the channel, I'm not sure but it feels more authentic, keep it up

I have loved my Commencal Meta HT. Their customer service was excellent too. I bought during a holiday weekend so they called me before they shipped it out to confirm my order and address. The bike has been super comfy as well. I bet that your experience with your bike will be just as good.

Sweet bike! Can't wait to see you rip it around the trails!

If your lower headtube measurement was actually 43.5mm, the headtube would be designed for an EC44 lower headset (even though specs say ZS56). Hopefully the ZS Chris King still holds up well.

Grease all mating surfaces is correct..no creaking, no seizing.
Looks nice . Gonna like seeing this thing in action .
