Every time someone evaluate a Floyd it’s based off old Floyd. Young Floyd would be JUST FINE against those fighters. I saw those fighters live as well, we romanticize the passed in all industries.

I think the young Floyd Mayweather Jr could’ve kept up with the old school fighters, but once he turn about 33-34, when he really started pot shotting his opponents, wouldn’t have lasted long. When Mayweather was younger, he let his hands go a lot more because that was before he broke his hands so much.
