Daring heroes and epic villains do battle on a grand scale in an incredible nighttime show—starring Mickey Mouse.

When Dreams Come to Life
As darkness falls, dazzling special effects transform the Rivers of America into an epic canvas for this extravagant live show.

Fast asleep, Mickey dreams he is the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. With a wave of his hands, he conducts scenes from Fantasia across enormous screens of water while brilliant sparks burst overhead. Pink elephants, swashbuckling pirates, princesses and more—including memorable scenes from Disney classics such as Aladdin, The Lion King, Tangled and Peter Pan—appear on and around the Rivers of America.

When Mickey is suddenly pulled into the Magic Mirror, his dream takes a dark turn. The Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs conjures up some of Disney's most dastardly villains! Mickey must use the power of his imagination to vanquish his foes—and save the day.

Featuring a fantastical array of live performers, beloved Disney characters, enhanced special effects, state-of-the-art projections and superb pyrotechnics, this show will wow the entire family.

How to Watch
The viewing area for Fantasmic! is along the Rivers of America, which you can access using the pathway from Frontierland. Check with a Cast Member for directions. Viewing is first come, first serve. For prime viewing in a reserved viewing area, consider purchasing a Fantasmic! Dining Package (subject to availability).

When fireworks are scheduled at Disneyland Park, you may choose to experience them from the Rivers of America immediately following the first nightly Fantasmic! performance. Or, you may return to the Rivers of America to watch the second nightly Fantasmic! performance after enjoying the Disneyland Park fireworks from Sleeping Beauty Castle or “it’s a small world”, or Fire of the Rising Moons in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

Looks Amazing. Glad Fantasmic is Back. But, and I'm just being Honest, without the Dragon it feels incomplete. Still, a great show.

I like the more restrained special effects and lighting in the intro. 2017 fantasmic didnt let the element of surprise or anticipation build. Not interrupting that intro with mickeys voiceover as well was the better way to do it. He still comes in later. There are a few examples of this throughout the show that make it feel more like 1.0 and I welcome it

Pros:

• They reused the old choreography from the original version like the intro and the flower during the jungle.

• The fountains were finally fixed!

• Peter Pan segments has returned and they added the Lost Boys!

• New pyrotechnics including Mickey breaks through the mirror instead of red flames and Maleficent burst with green flames like the original version.

• The original exit music has replaced the Imagination song after the show.

Cons:

• The animatronic crocodile didn’t return due to the height when it’s too big to fit into storage like cavern.

• The Magic Carpet didn’t return because some people believed that it was damaged during the incident.

• The dragon animatronic is temporary unavailable ever since the incident from last year when it was on fire. They edit the version for a battle between Mickey and Maleficent.

• More characters needed to fill in some empty spaces on Mark Twain like Pinocchio, Stitch, or Roger Rabbit.

• Still need Lion King characters to be added in between the jungle scenes and the finale.

Final review… 10/10

Thanks for showing us the new Fantasmic show that debuted last night. My son Tristan is looking forward to seeing this. He has a sorcerer Mickey hat that we bought him when we visited in 2021. He's been waiting 3 years. 😢

The revised score feels very incomplete in sections. Almost as if some of the sound channels accidentally dropped out. Entire instruments are missing during the opening sequence.

Great video.. great to at least have the show back but you can tell it needs so much work. I can’t tell if the changes were just budget cuts or they were actually trying to change the show for the better.

I’m glad that Fantasmic returned to Disneyland, after being absent due to dragon malfunctioning.

Glad that they brought back the Peter Pan segment to the show. Even though I loved Pirates of the Caribbean, it really didn’t clicked for me. It felt like a Fantasmic 2.5, mainly because they brought back the scene.

I kind-of disappointed that the dragon wasn’t present, it’s not the same without it.

Also, agreeing to the other comments - there are fewer characters at the end of the Mark Twain.
