I think the solution on the last subtraction is incorrect. How can sqrt of 23 be two different numbers? it should be 5-1=4.

Can you explain something to me. On your slide on Subtraction of Real Numbers (6:06), for the sixth question you have 5 minus bracket root of 23 divided by the root of 23. Why is the root of 23 different above and below the fraction line? Wouldn't they total out to 1? This makes no sense to me that you have the exact same number which is two different numbers.
